What determines if a dog is a candidate for the Tightrope procedure vs the TPLO? I have a 6 yr old 80# pitbull who needs the treatment.

Did you ever find a Los Angeles based (or relatively local) surgeon to perform the Tightrope procedure on your dog?
I have been trying to locate a surgeon here myself, and haven’t had much luck.

What a delight to find this post about using a holistic wellness protocol for pets. I have always used a more natural approach to health care with my own animals and often treated the furry friends of my clients. My professional background includes nursing and holistic chiropractic.

My pets have always responded well to herbal medicine, chiropractic adjustments, massage, and acupressure. I’m glad to see that more veterinary professionals are ‘going holistic’ too – or at least referring their clients to alternative practitioners who will complement conventional veterinary care.
